Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with course work emphasis in computer information technology, business administration, office administration, or personal computer operations; supplemented by one (1) year previous experience and/or training involving office administration (preferably in a community college), Ellucian Products, Softdocs, and personal computer operation; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Position Description
Under general supervision, the purpose of this position is to provide technical assistance within the Enrollment Services offices. Collaborate with the Office of Information Technology and Services (OITS) to identify and implement new technical tools. This position provides leadership and strategic vision for the use of technology in the Registrar, Financial Aid, Recruiting, and Adult Learning Center offices. Identify and implement new technical tools, workflow processes, and strategic initiatives designed to increase departmental effectiveness. Performs related work as directed. Reports to the AVP of Enrollment Services.
Provide technical and analytical support to the Enrollment Services offices, with a particular emphasis on data integrity, best practices, process streamlining, training, and documentation as they relate to software utilized by office staff.
In collaboration with the Office of Information Technology & Services (OITS) is responsible for supporting the technological functions in Enrollment Services.
Identify and troubleshoot technology related issues that impact student records.
Processes a variety of documentation associated with department operations, within designated time-frames and per established procedures.
Develop processes to determine how to fully utilize technology services within the Registrar & Financial Aid offices.
Submit various reports as required to internal and external agencies.
Support all Enrollment Services units with troubleshooting, upgrade testing, and daily work during critical periods of high demand.
Serve as a liaison for Enrollment Services with OITS on new technology initiatives.
Develop and maintain an overall working knowledge of Pitt Community College technology utilized by Enrollment Services, including but not limited to Ellucian Colleague, Informer, and Aviso.
Ensures accuracy of data as related for documents received by the Office of the Registrar, such as transcripts received/issued; enters, encodes, and verifies data in computer.
Assists the Registrar as needed to support department functions and maintain confidentiality of all academic records.
Scans interactive records onto optical disk using optical imaging equipment; reviews documents for accuracy; destroys paper files.
Maintains computerized and/or hard-copy file systems of departmental records; prepares departmental files; sorts/organizes documents to be filed; files documents in designated order; retrieves/replaces files.
Communicates with proper entities across campus to exchange information or resolve problems.
