Pay Grade: Assistant 6
This position provides operational and administrative support for the Institutional Effectiveness, Accreditation, and Research department.
Responsibilities and Duties (*Essential Functions):

* Creates and administers survey requests for the college, which includes procuring survey materials, selecting samples, preparing mail-outs, scanning surveys, constructing data analysis, maintaining a repository of surveys completed, and distributing results
* Updates annual publications, including a Quick Facts Card and Fact Book
* Provides administrative support for the preparation of all Southern Association of Colleges and Schools - Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC) accountability and accreditation reporting
* Organizes and maintains all SACS documentation (official correspondence with COC)
* Assists with preparing and maintaining annual institutional effectiveness plans and goals for the college
* Manages the online IE Budget Planning process by monitoring the annual submissions by the different divisions and departments of the college
* Assists personnel with the IE and Budget online processes
Assists the Director of IE and other personnel within the department with special projects and tasks
Collaborates on research requests and data collection as needed
Manages and updates office records and files
Screens and distributes mail to all personnel in the office
Creates and edits memos and letters on a regular basis
Creates and edits reports, presentations, and proposals
Attends various meetings and takes minutes, transcribes, and distributes minutes and reports as required
Performs other office duties including filing, records management, calendar set-up, and purchasing equipment and supplies
Completes an annual applied benchmark project on an individual or group basis

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Professional
Demonstrated strong attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with staff, faculty, and the general public
