Minimum Qualifications
Education Required
- Associate degree in organizational design, technology, business administration, information systems, or related field from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution or four years of related experience.
Experience Required
- Three years of related records management experience, including evidence of experience in the following areas:
- Thorough knowledge of data entry best practices and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and experience developing spreadsheets, developing presentations, and using database software applications as determined by pre-employment testing
- Experience reviewing data according to programs and policies
- Experience recognizing and reporting data anomalies
Preferred Qualifications
Education Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in organizational design, technology, business administration, information systems, or related field from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution.
Experience Preferred
- More than three years of related records management experience
- Experience in an academic setting
- Literacy Education Information System (LEIS) Adult Education data entry and analysis experience.
- Experience reviewing data according to Community College and/or Adult Education programs and policies.
- Experience working with National Reporting System (NRS) Testing and Performance Measures.
- Experience analyzing, compiling, and reporting data analyses related to student performance and/or retention.
- Recent experience with an enterprise student information system (i.e. Colleague, Advansys, etc.).
Position Description
Reporting directly to the Director of Program Accountability, this position serves a variety of functions including the setup and maintenance of student records, data entry for student registration and LEIS, grades, graduates, and contact hours; updating and monitoring Adult High School student transcripts; maintaining official transcript documentation and records; assisting with course roster pre-audit and processing; and maintaining confidentiality of student records through established procedures. This position provides complete and accurate LEIS reports, assessments, and student retention data for the Adult Education (AE) Program, and administers TABE, CASAS, and other NRS-approved assessments in person and remotely according to National Reporting System (NRS) testing requirements. This position analyzes and evaluates data related to student performance.
