Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, student affairs, business administration, communications, project management or related field;
- 3 to 5 years of campus wide programming in higher education;
- 1 to 3 years of post-secondary education enrollment and/or advising experience;
- Significant, related experience in higher education, project management, and supervision would be considered

The U.S. Department of Education Title III Grant – Strengthening Institutions Program (SIP) is designed to help higher education institutions expand their capacity to serve at-risk students by providing funds to improve and strengthen the institution's academic quality, institutional management, and fiscal stability. CCCC’s Title III program, NAVIGATE, will transform student onboarding and advising through academic customer service and process improvement.
The purpose of the Title III NAVIGATE Project Activity Director (Student Support) is to co-direct all Title III grant activities at CCCC. This position is responsible for carrying out the approved program plan and achieving the formulated objectives in their respective activities. The NAVIGATE Activity Director (Student Support) will be responsible for (1) leading activities related to supporting the restructure of the onboarding/advising division and tracking, (2) planning and implementing relevant professional development, and (3) serving as the main liaison to the external evaluator to ensure successful formative evaluation, and (4) reporting progress on project objectives to internal, external, and federal stakeholders. A separate co-director will lead project activities related to information technology, software, and process improvement.
This is a grant-funded position with an anticipated grant end date of September 30, 2026 . Continuation of position is contingent upon available state funding following the conclusion of the grant project.

Essential Duties
- Work closely with the Title III NAVIGATE Implementation Manager (IT/Process) to ensure a coordinated execution of all NAVIGATE project activities and assist with Slate software implementation, training and documentation.
- Provide assistance in determining institutional needs and NAVIGATE project effectiveness in relation to the institution's mission and strategic plan.
- Provide leadership in establishing progress indicators and means for monitoring project performance.
- Coordinate and monitor the effective implementation of NAVIGATE project activities while ensuring efficient and effective use of program resources.
- Maintain effective lines of communication with the president and senior administrators to ensure program operation is consistent with overall institution goals.
- Lead development of presentations, reports, plans of operation, working budgets, and other documents critical to the management of each NAVIGATE activity
- Maintain project documentation including, but not limited to communications, policies, procedures, reports, plans of operation, budgets, expenditures, and records of project inventory.
- Ensure compliance with college, state and federal regulations.
- In conjunction with Title III NAVIGATE Implementation Manager (IT/Process), the Business Office and the Grants Department, manage the Title III project budget, including ensuring allowability of costs, tracking expenses, maintaining expense documentation, and submitting requests to the business office in cooperation with project staff and according to college, state, and federal accounting procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting and outcome data tracking per Department of Education Title III requirements. Regularly review project success metrics and share with stakeholders to ensure the project is meeting projected outcomes.
- Lead regular project team meetings to discuss project progress and implement program modifications, if necessary.
- Coordinate and disseminate project-related internal and external evaluations.
- Coordination of project status and results dissemination including providing presentations to stakeholders, assisting in writing press releases and news stories, and related communications.
- Support project personnel.
- Work cooperatively and professionally with others.
- Serve on College committees as assigned.
- Complete five hours of professional development, annually.
- Encourage and support College activities, policies, procedures, and philosophies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
