Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in English, Math, Education, Ed Leadership, Curriculum Dev, Dev Studies or applicable degree from a regionally accredited institution;
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree preferred; three years’ experience in Community College setting preferred; knowledge of curriculum programs; Colleague experience preferred; solid organizational skills with attention to detail; good communication skills; understanding and willingness to coach and mentor.
Position Description
Serve as staff member in charge of ENG/MAT open lab for RISE students facilitating math, reading and English instruction; support/enhance student learning through English I and PreCalculus levels; coordinate with instructors and Student Development to identify problem areas and to develop/implement strategies to resolve issues faced by highly at-risk student; and provide individual consultation and follow-up with student participants.
