Minimum Qualifications
Requirements
Master's degree in Student Affairs, College Counseling, Higher Education Administration, or a related field
Five years of progressive student services leadership in higher education
Significant experience with strategic enrollment management practices that positively impact recruitment, retention, progression, and completion
Experience with a student information system and related student-facing applications, such as CRM or IPASS software
A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Comprehensive knowledge of student development theory, enrollment management, and higher education policy
Proven ability to create an organizational culture that is responsive to student needs
Fluency with data and analytics to identify leading indicators of student retention and success
Demonstrated knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices
Ability to work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse student populations
Ability to manage a large, complex organization as well as lead organizational change
Ability to work effectively as a team member with all segments of the College
Excellent listening, written, oral communication, and organizational skills
Solid judgment, strong leadership, impeccable integrity, and a strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications

Position Description
The Vice President for Enrollment and Student Services is responsible for providing leadership and vision in administering a comprehensive range of programs and services for students that will enhance the college's mission by implementing strategies to improve student retention, student services, academic excellence, and learning.

*Promotes a student-centered philosophy and focuses student services activities on successful and equitable student outcomes
*Leads the development and implementation of data-informed strategies to improve admissions and enrollment processes, as well as increase retention, progression, and graduation
*Oversees the college's student services programs in accordance with applicable North Carolina Administrative Code, General Statutes, and Federal Law
*Supervises senior personnel and oversees all functions related to Admissions and Outreach; Financial Aid; Military, Veteran, and Special Programs; Registration and Records; Academic Advising; and Student Life
Fosters innovation in providing access to quality services by effectively utilizing technology and human resources
Encourages collaboration between academic and student services personnel and units to develop College policies and ensure responsive services to applicants and students
Ensures adequate and appropriate student services at each multi-campus site and to distance learning students
Responsible for crisis and risk management for the service area and student organizations
