Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution with three to five years’ relevant experience. Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and effective written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
An earned doctorate degree and five or more years of relevant experience.
Position Description
Responsible for providing leadership in the development, implementation, effectiveness, and coordination of all educational programs of the College, including credit and non-credit programs.
Essential Job Functions
Develop and recommend to the President new or modified educational and training programs, courses, policies, or procedures that anticipate new or emerging trends.
Recommend policies, procedures, and/or changes to the ECC Handbook as it relates to instruction.
Provide positive leadership for the Instructional Division’s part in the institutional effectiveness process including planning, budgeting, and the development of annual objectives.
Work cooperatively with other administrators to develop, implement, and manage the total educational programs of the college.
Conduct scheduled evaluations of all direct reports and review evaluations of ECC faculty.
Represent the College at all appropriate activities and with all appropriate groups as requested by the President.
Direct the organization and planning of professional development for the faculty.
Serve on college committees as needed.
Oversee the budgetary process and fiscal management for all instructional areas.
Supervise library services, instructional deans, administrative assistant to the VP, and the weekend/night coordinator.
Assist, advise, and support the college President as needed.
Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
