Minimum Qualifications
Education: Masters degree from an accredited institution

Position Description
- Coordinate and provide oversight of administrative and managerial aspects of Instructional Services: Learning Resources Center, Academic Services, Student Services, Correctional Programs, Workforce/Continuing Education Programs, Pre-College Programs, Community Services Programs, and Small Business Center.
- Lead Instructional Services in development and implementation of new programs of study appropriate to the mission of the college. Recommend additions, elimination, and change in current programs.
- Serves as the College’s designated representative on selected boards in the three county area, and within the state community college system as appropriate.
- Direct the development of Instructional Services course offerings each semester. Serve on the College Administrative Council and support the President in development and execution of College strategic planning and in continuous improvement for the College.
- Direct Student Services and Dean of Students on all issues relating to instruction.
- Coordinate strategic and long-range planning for Instructional Services, and provide oversite in institutional effectiveness and the goal setting process.
- Serve as a mentor and resource person for faculty and +staff in ensuring that objectives and priorities are developed and carried out.
- Provide oversight for the employee evaluation process in Instructional Services and evaluate job performances of personnel reporting directly to VP.
- Guide supervisors in the implementation of individual professional activities plans by evaluating their progress toward their goals and objectives
- Recommend to the President the employment or dismissal of employees in Instructional Services Division.
- Coordinate staff development activities for Instructional Services Division personnel.
- Coordinate the preparation of the annual Instructional Services operating budget. Provide support in management of budgets. Oversee the purchase of equipment to support program needs.
- Assist in development and maintenance of college website.
- Oversee promotion and marketing of programs, both within the College and externally to foster a positive image for the College and enhance student recruitment.
- Provide marketing-related training sessions aimed at assisting college staff and faculty in developing and executing effective recruitment marketing plans.
- Responsible for accuracy of online catalog and marketing materials created for Instructional Services
- Represent Instructional Services on committees both internal and external to the College.
- Maintain current information on changes which relate to job performance, including advances in technology and changes in state and federal regulations. Attends workshops and conferences, as appropriate.
- Direct projects and assume other duties as assigned by the President.
- Ensures that SACS-COC standards are met for all academic programs and faculty
