Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Web Development, Web Design, Computer Science or related discipline, or diploma/certificate with 3-5 years of experience in related discipline in lieu of an associate’s degree will be considered.  

Proficient with HTML, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Illustrator) and WordPress, or similar content management system.  Must possess the skills and talent to design and develop websites that are visually interesting and effective in conveying information that informs and persuades audiences.

Ability to recognize and resolve system-related problems; communicate technical and complex information both in oral and written form; effectively plan, organize, and prioritize work assignments; coordinate multiple projects concurrently and work with minimum guidance and direction.

Preferred Qualifications

One to three years of direct work experience in web design is preferred.

Position Description

We are seeking a skilled, visually creative web content specialist to assistant our webmaster and join our award-winning in-house communications team.  In this role, you will be responsible for managing, designing, and creating our web presence, while ensuring that our sites are user-friendly and up-to-date.

An artistic eye with a feel for trends in the web design climate is a must. You will also work with our team to expand our presence through the design and implementation of new web-based applications that will positively impact our viewers’ experience. You should be highly knowledgeable in content management and have solid coding and styling skills to build functional and easy-to-use websites.
