Minimum Qualifications
Welding Technology Diploma.
Three (3) years experience in the welding industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Must be able to interact well with adult learners, high school students, local industry representatives, and other college employees/departments.
Ability to utilize different methods and mediums in delivering course material for classroom and hands-on laboratory training.
Preferred Qualifications
A.A.S. in Welding, or a related area.
Position Description
Provide technical instruction in Welding program to prepare students to apply technical knowledge and skills to utilize various welding processes and techniques.
Deliver classroom instruction and supervise/assist students in a welding environment to develop the skills needed to be successful in the welding service industry.
Utilize course materials and hands-on training exercises.
Instruct, operate, and maintain training equipment.
Attend college training in Portal, Blackboard, Web Attendance, and other trainings required for job performance. Other duties as required.
