Blue Ridge Community College is actively seeking candidates for our WIOA Case Manager position. The WIOA Case Manager supervises the recruitment, enrollment, counseling and monitoring of individuals in training or NCWorks intensive services. This individual will also supervise the monitoring of clients through service delivery, training and three quarters of employment, after completion of training, using the NCWorks Online or other state system.

Education: Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: 5 years case management experience. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:
Possess strong personal and professional integrity, effective verbal and written communication skills, and a commitment to safety. Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite or similar products, Content Management Systems (CMS), College email and website, web-based computer applications associated with the position.

• Experience in case management financial aid counseling, career counseling or related field preferred
• Ability to relate to a wide variety of people
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work as a part of a team
• Excellent record keeping skills

Physical Demands: The ability to perform all duties associated with the position including, but not limited to lifting, prolonged standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and operating or performing work with associated tools and machines.
