Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred. Demonstrated communication skills appropriate for business and public presentations. Web-based marketing skills. Organizational Skills and basic technology/computer skills.

Position Description

To provide students with strong experience in and understanding all aspects of an industry through work-based learning.

Develop and improve relationships with LEA’s/local business/industry/ and community organizations fostering work-based learning opportunities. Creates and maintains online database of employers for student internships and apprenticeships. Maintains proper reporting utilizing the program and submits timely reports to the VPAA as required quarterly. Teach WBL courses each semester. Assists VPAA in developing website as well as marketing and student recruitment plans for HCC CTE programming.

Develop and coordinate Guest Speaker Series showcasing examples of Non-Traditional Career Representation. Attend professional development. Develops Annual Report for HCC Stakeholders Committee regarding Work Based Learning. Other duties as assigned by VPAA.
