Minimum Qualifications

Education Required

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Possess NC Pesticide Applicator License or ability to obtain one within twelve months of employment.

Experience Required

  • 1 year grounds maintenance experience including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, pruning, mulching, turf care, landscape installation, grounds equipment operation etc.

Preferred Qualifications

Education Preferred

  • Diploma or Associate Degree in Turfgrass Management, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution.

Position Description

The jobholder performs a variety of essential grounds maintenance activities at all GTCC campus locations providing a safe, attractive, and functional site for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
