Minimum Qualifications

An Associate’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field of study from a regionally accredited institution is required. One year of clerical, administrative, and/or payroll experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

A National Career Readiness Certificate and bilingual in English and Spanish are preferred.

Position Description

Assist with ongoing maintenance of WIOA participant's files and correspondence. Schedule potential participants for Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) testing and keep a record of the results. Assure all required documents are uploaded into NCWorks system as required. Assist with screening potential applicants and keep the WIOA referral log updated. Assist with maintaining a work experience log with hours used and expenditures. Assist with checking incoming attendance sheets for accuracy. Compile Individual Training Account (ITA) for each participant’s training activities and maintain an ITA voucher log. Assist with outreach and recruitment activities within the community. Assist with program budgets. Assist with compiling monthly Work Experience reports and Bi-Monthly WIOA reports.
